 Micropigmentation Practitioner Home Study CD Set

This product consists of the entire Micropigmentation Practitioner curriculum on audio CDs. The CDs contain discussions, question and answer sessions, and are recorded live at our Academy to create a sense of reality and involvement. 

A unique feature of this programme is that the demonstrations are included on DVD. The demonstrations were videoed live at our Academy and are unedited so you get to see what really happened. Each of the demonstrations is then explained to assist your learning.

Students are provided with an extensive, thoroughly researched training manual to prepare prior to the start of the practical assessments.

The intensive training programme is conducted by Debra or Geraldine with no more than two students per tutorial (POA) and covers everything through to creative in vogue design techniques using FAME®, colour theory, identifying skin tones and your health and safety obligations, and the chance to use state of the art equipment. Students are assessed for competence in providing treatments over a three-day period.

All graduates receive a Specialist Make-up Services diploma, ongoing technical support and access to Debra's Liquid Perfection® pigments Pioneering Advanced Techniques for Eyebrows, Eyeliner & Lip Procedures.

Introduction and Overview of the Semi Permanent Make-up Industry:

• Incorporating, the history of tattooing, cosmetics in the UK, importance of women’s make-up, coverage in the media, FAME® and the consumer, background to Debra Robson-Lawrence and the training academy, and much more..
• Review of home study, questions, and answers: -From initial room setup until the client is finished. Learn good standards according to current health and safety guidelines.

Procedure Application:

• Learn Eyebrow  Artistry using Hair Simulation, Eyeliner, and Lipliner for men and women. Graduates will be proficient in the design, shape and reconstruction of all procedures using Debra's FAME® technique.

The Use of Topical Anaesthetics:

• Learn what is permissible to use and how to apply topical anaesthetics for optimum effectiveness.

Health & Safety:

• Understand your duty of care for yourself, surroundings, and the client.

Sterilization and Sanitation:

• All phases of cross contamination prevention and blood-borne pathogen control, including dangerous pathogens and infection in the clinic.

Contraindications:

• Situations in which a procedure should NOT be carried out because it may be harmful to the client.

Treatment Room Setup:

• From initial room setup until the client is finished. Learn good standards according to current health and safety guidelines.

Consultation:

• Who has semi permanent make-up, explaining the benefits, frequently asked questions, sensitivity testing, and how to carry out a perfect consultation virtually guaranteeing the client will make an appointment.

Anatomy & Physiology:

• Learn layers of the skin and why it is critical that you know the exact depth of proper placement for successful results.

Client Photos:

• You can only take a 'before' photo once. Learn how to effectively use a digital camera and which settings to use for maximum close-ups and perfect photos every time for inclusion with the client consent form.

Precision Plus Micropigmentation Techniques:

• Learn to use the digital machine for effectiveness.

Before and after procedure client care:

• Appropriate protocol must be adhered for successful results. Inform your client before, during and after their procedures on how to take care of their new procedure, and awareness of the healing process.

Needle Selection:

• Learn what to choose, why, and how to effectively utilize several needle selections for each procedure, and safe use of needles to guard against needle stick injuries.
