It was Monday Night as Jonathan Ross was honoured with the prestigious annual Music Industry Trusts Award, presented to him by pop legend George Michael in recognition of his services to music broadcasting.

Four Poofs and a Piano got the evening off to a great start, which also included performances from Kelly Jones, Stereophonics and Mr Cool himself, Bryan Ferry. As Jonathan collected his award a specially made tribute film played messages of support from many diverse talents, including Sir Tom Jones, Dame Vivienne Westwood, Will Smith, Alan Carr, Rufus Wainwright, U2 and current UK chart topper Cheryl Cole.

Last Christmas, as an alternative to sending cards, team at Specialist Make-up Services made a considerable donation to Shelter.

Shelter works to alleviate the distress caused by homelessness and bad housing. On Christmas morning more than 1.6 million children will wake up in housing that is run-down, damp or overcrowded. Without the generosity of companies such as Debra Robson-Lawrence, they could not continue their work.
